Hossein Dini and Leo Schreiner join RHUMBO

The University of Aalborg and GTEC have recently enrolled new ESRs.

Hossein Dini is from Iran and got his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in the University of Zanjan. He also studied a master in Biomedical Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic). He is experienced in working with “EEG functional connectivity analysis of ADHD children during facial emotion recognition task” using machine learning and graph theoretical analysis.

Leonhard Schreiner is from Austria. After finishing Higher Technical Institute Braunau am Inn in mechatronics, he joined the University of Applied Science in Vienna. He earned my bachelor´s degree in sports technology and my master´s degree in healthcare and rehabilitation technology.  He developed a BCI-controlled orthosis for neurorehabilitation of stroke patients during his master’s thesis. Over the last two years, he has worked for g.Tec Medical Engineering Spain S.L. in Barcelona for the BCI technology-based projects recoveriX and mindBEAGLE. Besides research in the field of neuroscience, he is very much interested in prototyping and biomaterials
